Here’s my daily top 10 oil picks, how I use them, and how they can help you feel amazing and get things done:
Frankincense: This is my number 1 go to oil for just about everything, as it’s great for brain balance, focus, sad feelings, inflammation, immune system and cellular health, wound repair, letting go of negative vibrations, and helps you see the ‘truth’ in life. It’s like the Swiss Army Knife of oils. I use 2 drops under my tongue every morning. If you can only have 1 oil, this is it.
InTune (Focus blend): Helps keep you focused on the task at hand, and helps with increased concentration and attention to detail, mental clarity, reduces stress and alleviates nervous and anxious feelings. This blend includes Frankincense, Lime, Patchouli, Roman Chamomile, Sandalwood and Ylang Ylang.
Peppermint: Gives an instant energy lift, is cooling, helps relieve head and neck tension, provides digestive relief (1 drop is equal to 28 cups of Peppermint tea), creates emotional distance during heated discussions, and helps with bad breath. Also for those experiencing ‘hot flashes’, mix 8-10 drops of Peppermint and filtered water in a small 4 ounce glass spray bottle for an instant cooling spray. Apply to the back of your neck, temples or wherever you need to cool down. Also great for sunburn relief.
DigestZen: As the name implies, it’s used for digestive relief, gas, bloating, nausea, motion sickness during travel, sinus issues, emotional indigestion, and helps when you’ve ‘taken on too much’. This is a blend of Anise, Caraway, Coriander, Fennel, Ginger, Peppermint and Tarragon oils. Use a drop under your tongue, in a shot of water, or rub it right where you need it on your stomach or throat.
Balance (Grounding blend): Helps you feel balanced, calm, centered and grounded, balances energy, dispels anger and rage, relieves stress and anxious feelings. I use this every day, a drop on the bottoms of my feet, helps me stay grounded and focused. This blend includes Blue Chamomile, Blue Tansy, Frankincense, Ho Wood and Spruce. Very woodsy smelling.
Citrus Bliss (Invigorating blend): Do you work in an office full of grumpy, whiny people? Or live in a house with grumpy, whiny kids (or adults)? Diffuse this blend and change the mood of your co-workers, family and friends without them knowing! This blend fosters creativity, relieves stress, is uplifting and smells amazing! This is a blend of seven different citrus oils and vanilla: Bergamot, Clementine, Grapefruit, Lemon, Mandarin, Tangerine and Wild Orange.
Serenity (Calming blend): Can’t we all just get along? This blend is great for promoting serene feelings of acceptance, helping reduce criticism, blame and judgement, reduces anxious feelings and resentment towards others. Finally! And Serenity will help you fall asleep at night, and it’s great to calm the overactive or cranky kids in your life, the little or big ones. Ha! 1-2 drops on the bottoms of their feet, back of the neck, on temples, and diffuse it. This blend includes Lavender, Sweet Marjoram, Roman Chamomile, Sandalwood, Vetiver, Ylang Ylang and vanilla.
Passion (Inspiring blend): Do you feel like you’ve lost your mojo? This blend can help you get it back, and find your inner passion for life, help you love your work, get inspired, clear mental fog, discover clarity of purpose, and encourages openness to new experiences. One of my faves! In this one there is Cardamom, Cinnamon, Clove, Ginger, Sandalwood and Jasmine. Also helps in the bedroom… just saying.
Motivate (Encouraging blend): Are you mentally exhausted and feel like you’re stuck? This is the one for you! This blend helps fight mental fatigue and exhaustion, gives encouragement and confidence, and helps you get things done. This is a blend of Basil, Clementine, Coriander, Melissa, Peppermint and Rosemary. Also one of my faves, and I put a drop or 2 behind my ears, and the energy boost is amazing… my house gets clean and my work gets done.
OnGuard (Protective blend): Great for boosting your immune system, has anti-bacterial, antiviral and antifungal properties, kills germs, kills airborne pathogens when diffused, reduces symptoms and duration of seasonal bugs, keeps you and your staff healthier with less days out of the office. This is a blend of Cinnamon, Clove, Eucalyptus, Rosemary and Wild Orange oils, warm, spicy and very powerful.
BONUS: ClaryCalm (Monthly Blend for Women): OK, ladies, this is the jam for balancing your hormones, and I don’t care how old you are, or how many parts you have left, if you know what I mean. I use this roll-on blend morning and night, lower abdomen, and sometimes around my ankles, to help me stay sane and not lose my mind. It also helps balance mood swings, PMS-type crankiness and cramps, I think you get the picture.
When using essential oils, quality matters. Essential oils are powerful aromatic compounds that act like messengers throughout your body.

The key to enjoying an abundant life is gratitude. If you are not happy with or are not expressing thanks for what you already have, on a daily basis, you will not be ‘open’ to receiving more of the good stuff coming your way. This is something I’ve really been focusing on lately, trying to make it a habit, or part of my daily ritual.
Take the time to write down 5-10 things you’re grateful for each day, preferably in the morning, and it can be as simple as: I love my bed; I love my husband; I’m so grateful for my cute dog; thank you for this amazing cup of coffee… The more things you are grateful for, the more things will come into your life to be grateful for… I love how this works.
Plus, when you reflect a spirit of gratitude, you bring calm and peace into your world, and you radiate that energy, which attracts more amazing things to you. So simple, yet so powerful…

When you’re dealing with stress, and you start feeling overwhelmed, your body is sending you a signal that something is not quite right… and you need to slow down and pay attention to what’s going on inside you. You may have depleted your stores of the natural ‘chemical messengers’ that help you feel calm, grounded and in control. It’s similar to when a car runs out of gas… you ain’t going anywhere until you refill the tank.
