Nothing changes if nothing changes

For me this year, 2024, is all about transformation. The last few years, let's be honest, have been pretty much a giant dumpster fire. I'm sure I'm not alone in feeling this way.

Within the last couple of years we were evacuated from our home for over 2 weeks due to a wildfire, my mother-in-law died suddenly, and my husband had a bad reaction to steroids following a surgical procedure, leaving him weak, really sick and unable to work for 3 months. This last year found us dealing with an awakening of sorts, which led to a lot of mental and emotional confusion and pain, contributed to a decline in my work, and a distancing from long-time friends and some family members, meaning we are now being rejected and ignored by them. Conditional love in action.

Moving right along…

When you realize that things are never going to be the same, or go back to how they were before, it’s time for a change. Once you stop crying and trying to figure out why it all happened like this, or what you’re supposed to do next, you get to a place when you know it’s time to let it and them go, and just move on.

I actually did a little ritual on December 31st, where I wrote down all of the things that sucked in 2023, took it outside in the backyard and burned it. At that moment I let it all go. Once this was done, I felt an emotional shift, and knew I was going to be okay. Everything was going to be okay, and I was ready to move on.

The Mountain is You

I recently read the book ‘The Mountain Is You’, by Brianna Wiest, and I highly recommend it for anyone looking to understand why they're not getting the results they want in their life, their business, or relationships. This book takes a deep dive into the topic of self-sabotage, including how you can transform your limiting thoughts and beliefs, and learn to take positive actions to self-mastery. I have to admit that it felt like a 2 by 4 to the head at times, as it opened my eyes to how our subconscious mind works against us at times, and what we can do to fix it. Powerful insights that got me to start making some small changes, microshifts, if you will, as now I have a much better appreciation for how my mind actually works. And it’s the small, sustainable changes that will get you where you want to go.

This book also discusses the impact that trapped emotions and trauma have on us, and how they prevent us from moving forward in life, or keep us from reaching our goals. I love that this ties right in with the Emotion Code and Body Code work that I do. This form of subtle energy work is a quick, effective and simple way to clear out the emotional baggage without having to share or relive the gory details. It clears the way so you can be open to moving forward with new people and new opportunities for finding happiness and success.

Take some action now!

Again, nothing changes if nothing changes, and it’s up to you to take that first step, even if it seems scary or hard. You’ve survived everything in your life so far, so why not make a conscious effort to do something just for you, to take care of you, and to get yourself back to feeling good about you? Get the book and start doing the emotional work, however you decide to do it.

There are lots of ways to clear trapped emotions: You can journal, meditate, walk in nature, cry it out, get counseling, learn EFT (tapping), learn to do Emotion Code on yourself, or book a session with me to help get you started.

My intention is to inspire and help as many of you as possible to feel better energetically, which encompasses all aspects of you in mind, body and spirit, and that’s what Indigo Martini is all about. That’s it for today.
